OUT OF THE ASHES...

This past summer our dear musher friends Jaime & Justin High and Mike & DeeDee Jonrowe lost their kennels and homes to a consuming wildfire in Willow, Alaska. Alaska Missions and Retreats had the opportunity to serve in a very tangible way. Volunteers were mobilized to aid in the cleanup, recovery and rebuilding efforts. Local churches from Alaska, Arkansas, Georgia and as far east as West Virginia sent teams. In the midst of this crisis and at a moment's notice, men, women, children and our summer interns answered the call to serve. It was hot, tiring work, but volunteers served with determination and a joyful heart. Please continue to pray as there is still work to be done in Willow.

"
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith." Galatians 6:9-10
