Meeting Needs and Impacting Communities

Kingdom Men at Work
When Alaska Missions' construction teams picked up their tools this summer, their construction encompassed much more than lumber, drywall, nails, and paint. Community and ministry partnerships were built and reinforced with the love of Christ. With hard work, sweat, and smiling faces, these teams impacted the Kenai Peninsula through tangible servanthood.

Six dedicated construction teams served on the Peninsula, representing Texas, Arkansas, Georgia, and West Virginia. They tackled projects for three organizations and ministries.

Cook Inlet Academy Christian School

While Cook Inlet Academy Christian School educates and ministers to students during the school year, it is also the location of Alaska Missions' Kenai Peninsula Sports Camp. Construction volunteers spent time cleaning out and organizing storage closets, refurbished the exterior of detached classrooms, and remodeled the hallway leading to the gymnasium.

College Heights Baptist Church

College Heights Baptist Church in Soldotna is a long-time church partner with Alaska Missions. Construction teams framed, sheathed, installed rafters, decked, and dried in the church's new administration building.
