GIVE to Stebbins Fire Relief -
we are loading planes with baby food, formula, diapers and supplies for the village's most vulnerable.
11/29/22. The Native Store and Fuel Company in Stebbins were a total loss in a fire. City Admin, Daisy Katcheak reached out to Alaska Missions for help. We are mobilizing the first 2000 pounds of baby food & supplies via bush planes immediately. We will monitor needs and stand ready to aid in the next phase of need as local leaders address the coming days & weeks meeting the needs of the village.

Donate to Bering Strait Disaster Relief
On September 17 & 18, 2022 a brutal typhoon slammed into Nome and smaller remote Native villages in the Bering Strait Region. This region has very complicated supply chain challenges, especially after the barges stop running in late September before the Bering Sea FREEZES. Winter is looming, and hundreds of homes are flooded. Boats and Atv's have been consumed. Many subsistence camps have been destroyed, further complicating the Indigenous food supply process. Many have no homes to return to. Some villages saw homes float away.
Join Alaska Missions in meeting needs that have abruptly arisen.
for Supporting efforts to remediate the devastation, both immediate and long-term.
