GIVE TO STEBBINS FIRE RELIEF
On November 29, 2022 the Stebbins Native Store and Fuel Company were lost in a fire, leaving the isolated community with no access to consumables for the village. Daisy Katcheak (city administrator) called upon Alaska Missions to mobilize resources asap to meet the needs of young moms and their infants.
Alaska Missions is raising funds to fly supplies in that in response to the village's immediate needs list, that includes various sizes of diapers, a variety of baby formula, dry milk, shelf stable milk, canned milk and baby food. Village leaders assessed the needs of each baby individually to find types of diapers and formulae required. Each purchase we make has a special little one in mind.
Our FIRST PLANE LOAD will land in Stebbins Friday Dec 2, 2022. We will send the plane's maximum payload on each trip.
All resources given for this fund are going to purchase baby supplies. We are partnering with Samaritans Purse to freight the supplies. Our staff salaries are in place through other sources, so your donation is a CLEAN GIFT to meet the needs in Stebbins. Help us feed the babies !!!
