The executive director establishes the vision, strategy and resource management for Alaska Missions and Retreats. Crim's visionary leadership and strategic focus sets the pace for the staff and volunteers. She establishes mission partnerships with churches and individuals across the USA. Brenda has been a missionary in Alaska since January 5, 2005, and founded Alaska Missions in 2010.
Her passions lie in the evangelistic mission to reach Alaska, and in the restoration of the people of the land, the Alaskans. She regularly meets with new believers to spur them to maturity, and tool them to move through past issues that hijack their choices and their walk with Christ

Daniel and Theo Heihn Associate Director and Operations Manager Since June 2023
Daniel and Theodora (Theo) Heihn were born and raised in the lower 48 and begin full-time ministry together in 2011. With a ministry calling to remote regions, they moved to Nome, Alaska in 2016. Many people fall in love with the beautiful scenery that emanates every turn in Alaska, however, the Heihn’s will tell you that nothing compares to the love and community you will find with the Alaskan people. Their love for the people and their hearts for sharing the gospel have fueled their desire to reach the remote and overlooked regions of the world. Daniel and Theo have been partnering with Alaska Missions since 2016 and have now taken official staff positions in June of 2023. Daniel will be fulfilling the role of Associate Director and Theo will be taking on the role of Operations Manager.

Kim Hayes Fleet Manager Since 2016
This amazing young woman is an elementary music teacher, vocal virtuosa, and manages our fleet of vans & trailers. She makes sure the vans have regular maintenance and schedules vans for summer team use.
Kim has a strong passion for bush ministry, as well. She organizes our kids clubs at the Iditarod Finish Line in Nome, and makes spontaneous trips to travel to Bush villages to visit her Alaskan families in Nome and Elim.
