Looking Ahead: 2017 Kenai Construction

9/21/2016

The hammers and nails may be back in the toolboxes for now after a busy 2016 summer of work, but Alaska Missions is in full planning mode to ready constructions teams for 2017 work.

Alaska Missions Volunteer Center

Our goal for 2017 is to begin construction on our Volunteer Center on the campus of College Heights Baptist Church in Soldotna. This will provide a permanent location for Alaska Missions to efficiently mobilize mission volunteers throughout the year, as well as provide space to host pastor conferences, training, and discipleship events.

We are so thankful for so many who have donated toward this project. However, we are still short of the fundraising goal needed to move forward with construction. Please prayerfully consider contributing toward this center and help us bring this much-needed resource to fruition on the Kenai Peninsula!

See how the Volunteer Center
furthers our vision for mobilizing volunteers!

Team Needs

Our immediate needs for 2017 summer projects are experienced construction teams and skilled labor. If you have experience in carpentry, mechanicals, cornice or roofing, WE NEED YOU! We are excited to put your skills and experience to work in Alaska. Wade Liles, Alaska Missions' Kenai Construction Operations Manager, is standing ready to talk more with you about where you and your team can plug into this work!
