NATIVE VILLAGE PARTNERSHIPS
In Alaska today, there are five distinct groups: Northwest Coast Indians, Inupiaqs, Yupiks, Aleuts, and Athabascans. Alaska is divided into five distinct regions: Inside Passage, South-central, Southwest, Interior, and Far North. Village life is about subsistence and tradition.
At AKMR it is our goal to reach every part of our state. We partner with Alaska Natives throughout the state meeting needs, breaking down walls and sharing the gospel. We partner with the Kramers and the Arctic House Church in Kotzebue. In Nome we are constructing our Bering Sea Camp that will serve the Norton Sound region peoples of all ages. In Stebbins we work with Kellen Katcheak and a Native youth camp. Our summer feeding program has fed thousands of children across the state in villages. Stay connected for more information about our Native village partnerships.
