Join us on the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska for a week of fellowship, men's ministry, and FISHING THE KENAI RIVER! (Sorry, men only.) Bring your men's group to team build -- the week will be infused with men's leadership, Bible study, mission projects and fishing the world famous Kenai River. Join Alaska Missions staff for a week of challenge and "Fishing' with a Mission."
COST $950 - Which covers food, lodging, and local transportation (licenses and guided fishing will be an additional cost).
FLIGHTS: Book/pay for your own flights into Anchorage; you will be picked up at baggage claim and settled into your billet in Anchorage.
LODGING : Local church in Anchorage and at our 48-bed Mission Center.
Van: Your team will have vans or other transportation appropriate to your team size.
MEALS: Most meals are included once you arrive in Soldotna. Please see the Quickfacts Sheet for the specifics.
Walk-in Fishing: Bring your own BREATHABLE CHEST WADERS (important) & hooded rain coat, rod & reel.

August 3, Tuesday - Drive 150 mi to Soldotna, Alaska along one of Alaska's most scenic highways / Arrive after dinner
August 4, Wednesday - Walk-in Fishing / Mission project / Speaker @ Dinner
August 5, Thursday - Walk-in Fishing / Mission project / Speaker @ Dinner
August 6, Friday - Charter Halibut Fishing (optional - additional cost) / Dutch Treat Dinner at a local restaurant
August 7, Saturday - Walk-in Fishing / Mission project
August 8, Sunday - Walk-in Fishing / Mission project
August 9, Monday - Depart Soldotna and return to Anchorage for souvenir shopping and flight home

Suggested Salmon Fishing Rod: 8.5' Medium-Heavy rod / 4000 Spin Cast Reel with 30# test line.
Breathable Chest Waders (we do not recommend neoprene). No felt-bottomed boots per Alaska law.
