The Kodiak Crab Festival has been a part of the fabric of life on Kodiak Island since 1958. Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, it is a celebration of Spring, with five days of food and fun over Memorial Day Weekend. Alaska Missions equips this fun by conducting an encouraging and life-changing outreach during the Festival, hosting a booth, giving away lemonade/hot cocoa, doing children's crafts, puppets, balloon animals, face painting, music and more! There are also local service projects in the community to use your talents while serving the people of Alaska! Last year we had several decisions for Christ and spurred the local church in their outreach efforts.
